Mourning for a gaming site

I have enjoyed reading (monthly-ish) the Games Journal for a while now. Periodically, I looked for other sites that provided nice reviews of games and other interesting game related articles and never found one that I really liked as well.

Sadly, the Games Journal is no more. (good-bye letter)

They were part of my required online reading and I will miss them.

....

Have we mourned enough? Ok, good. How could they just go away? Didn't they know I was reading them? Does anyone have any good suggestions for game related Web sites to replace the Games Journal on my list of links?

I wonder what the market is like for boardgames. I always thought the core audience was families, and with new technologies and new activities, I don't see games as something drawing away families' attention. Couple that with computer games haveing been extremely intricate and impressive for many years now, the audience would seem to be dwindling.

If someone invented a game that used a blog then they would make a killing. Fact is the toy industry has pretty much conceded defeat to anything electronic/computer/internet/cell phone enabled. Board games are dead! (And I do mourn there passing but they simply can not compete).
